Our History
We are a team of five tourism and recreation professionals. A few years ago we noticed a lack of adventure tours on Vancouver Island. With our excellent education from Malaspina University-College in Nanaimo we were able to create two excellent adventure tours. We know how important sustainable tourism is and strongly believe in planning and making smart choices about tourism development. With this, we have chosen the best companies on Vancouver Island to do business with. These companies have the same high standards and values as we do. We hope you enjoy our Island.
Two years ago we won an award from TravelPost magazine for "Best BC Tour Company."
Last year we won an award from Expedia.com for our best practices.
We were also recognized by The Nanaimo Travel Association for our community involvement.

Anya Biryuk
Anya is our Russian soft adventure tour manager. She started out as the accommodations specialist, then took a year as the hard adventure tour manager. While she still books and tests all of our accommodations, she finds that she likes the soft adventure better (it's the comfortable beds, I'm sure).
Her values lie in sustainable tourism and protecting our beautiful land.
This is her at home in Russia with her younger brother, Nikita.

Becky Knight
Becky is our hard advevnture tourism guru. She grew up on Vancouver Island, worked for Tourism Nanaimo for eight years and studied tourism at Malaspina University-College. She is also our hard adventure activities specialist. Becky lives and breathes adventure tourism. Some of her favorite activies include: camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, diving, and ice skating. It is Becky's joy to show people around her hometown and do all of her favorite activities with them.
